THE CHALLENGE
Urban Decay, a long-standing client, entrusted us to transform their digital assets into a comprehensive marketing ecosystem spanning pdp, website content, paid and organic social media, onsite, email jouney’s and SMS campaigns.
The problem? We frequently operated under tight timelines with unfinished assets, simultaneously developing the overarching brand language while tailoring unique approaches for each individual product launch.
THE SOLUTION
I led a team of dedicated designers and copywriters, balancing complex brand guidelines, platform constraints, and an extensive asset count with only FPO’s to work with, all while ensuring deadlines were met and maintaining visual consistency across deliverables. For videos, I was able to leverage tutorial videos, still assets, and our unique design language into narratives that looked fresh and compelling.
To address our compressed timelines for campaign visual language development, I introduced a strategic initial concepting phase that aligned client expectations with our design approach before full execution. This streamlined our feedback cycles while significantly increasing productivity. The success of this approach fostered a strong client partnership, ultimately culminating in a year-long engagement where we provided both creative direction and strategic management for their Instagram grid.
